Nothing here about damned forever. Just cast out. The term “inhabiters of the earth” in Rev 12:7-12 includes both embodied and unembodied; all of us are subjected to the accuser’s domination. The only time mentioned is “a short time.”

The first sentence in Lesson 11 of Gospel Principles says, “Every person who comes to earth depends on Jesus Christ to fulfill the promise He made in heaven to be our Savior.” Everyone. Sounds like verification of Jude 1:6 to me. And of the Prophet's statement that “There is never a time when the spirit is too old to approach God. All are within the reach of pardoning mercy, who have not committed the unpardonable sin, which hath no forgiveness, neither in this world, nor in the world [singular] to come. There is a way…”.

I see no support in scripture to think that D&C 138:58-59 does not apply the 1/3. The idea that they, too, can be redeemed by the infinite Atonement fills me with joy.
