So it is that the Holy Priesthood after the Order of the Son of God is called the Melchizedek Priesthood “out of respect or reverence to the name of the Supreme Being, to avoid the too frequent repetition of his name.” (D&#038;C 107:3–4.)


Sounds as if they did not want to repeat the &quot;Holy Priesthood after the Order of the Son of God&quot; to often. I could see that it well could refer to overusing both. But it appears to reference the Son&#039;s Order.]]></description>
