By accident, I might add. I do not know the purpose of it, who performs it, or who receives it. I believe that there are some doctrinal matters that “regular” members are unaware of, which are only revealed to those who hold higher callings in the Church.

I’m not intending to imply that this is a “bad” or “wrong” thing. I’m certain that these individuals must be exceptionally worthy and faithful. My point is that yes, there are some doctrines that are not revealed to the general Church population, but I trust in the Lord to care for us all equally as pertains to our salvation.
