Yes! Often things/updates happen slower in the Church due to man’s limited vision. I had a great desire to have Preach My Gospel 10 years before it came out. The missionaries I went teaching with weren’t grasping the concerns of the Investigator because the were caught up in sticking to the Discussions and not relying on the Spirit.
I know in time non gmo/non-organic food will be removed from the Bishop’s Storehouse as well. Many people have food sensitivities and cannot eat the current food there due to health conditions but the Lord only has to work with the limited vision of men who grew up in a day when it wasn’t even around. I highly respect these men and know in time this will be addressed. I think sometimes in our Church people forget that The Law of Consecration included wants and needs but the Lord does expect us to live self sufficiently and if your bishop doesn’t see fit to bless you in that way, you must wait on the Lord. Bishops could write out $100,000 check if they wanted to so it is quite surprising when they don’t help the members of their ward get back on their feet but that will be on him to answer to the Lord. When there is sufficient and immediate support most people typically get back on their feet but usually there is a lag and then people sometimes get lazy. Oh to live in a Celestial World where everything runs perfectly.

He is just glad he has food on the table. He doesn’t see connection to hospital bills which come later. However, every person who can read can educate themselves on the health facts, such as chemicals/pesticides/herbicides used in agriculture lead to diseases such as cancer, birth defects, autism, infertility and more. If the Storehouse has GMO foods then that is counter productive to procreation! Duh! Wake up people, you don’t have swallow lies, do you?

Organics are nutrient-dense foods… more bang for your buck. Our grocery bill has gone down since we’ve made changes, not to mention we NEVER get really sick anymore. Once or twice a year, we might feel ‘under the weather,’ but then by morning we’re up and at ‘em again.

Because of good health, we are able to work harder and longer, thus, support our family better.

That is not true. GMO crops do not produce a higher yield… check it out! it’s killing us…

It made me fat, the 2 years we had to rely on it. I developed diabetes and high blood pressure. (but now do not have those issues as we eat healthy.)

So, now, tell me, WHY do they do this to people? You can’t say it’s to save lives, because it doesn’t. It diminishes the quality of life.
