This does not resonate with me. A Celestial Being with that much knowledge, love and Fatherly compassion I think is only bound by our Moral Agency as you state. I believe we mis-translate this word called fear. I, like you, believe the family unit is so symbolic of God. As a father myself I would NEVER want my children to fear me. I believe that we lack the communication skills to sometimes get our point across which God has no problem doing, as long as we extend the ear. I believe most calamities are brought upon us from the choices, we Humans have chosen. Mostly from separating ourselves from ourselves. Satan wants us to separate! It is one of his evil plans. God placed us here to be Humans with no regards to money, status, religion, race, gender, etc. Just to love and serve one another under Gods direction. If you love ME keep my commandments. I know we get caught up in life and sometimes I feel we Humans are digressing. But simplicity is love God. May this find peace to you.
