He was dressed in his police uniform in the photo. I explained to her that he was her grandfather and she replied that she already knew that, but that she’d never seen him dressed like that. She’d only known him dressed in white.

Startled, I asked her what she meant, because he died several years before she was born. She replied that he had been her teacher before she came to earth. A few days later she had forgotten all this.
