Empaths feel the emotions of others and will take on those emotions very easily unless they shield themselves from others emotions. Because I have that in me, I can fully understand how it is done. Even though I have not experienced having a broken arm, I can actually feel what that pain would be like without having done it.

For those trials unique to women, I feel like Heavenly Mother could have easily allowed Her own motherhood and understanding be shown to the Savior.
