This is
all just my own crazy opinion and not official church

doctrine but after much scripture study this is my theory.

Even though nobody knows the exact time of the second coming except God

(see Matt 24:36), it’s kind of his “secret”. Amos 3:7 says “Surely the Lord God
will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”

I think the Lord will give us revelations via his prophets.

I think God will eventually reveal the time to his prophet if he
has not done so already.

Here is what we learn from modern scripture and

prophets mostly the Doctrine and Covenants.

This earth has a temporal existence of 7,000 years. (See

D&C section 77)

And if Christ came in “the meridian of time” (see D&C

20:26) and we understand that meridian means the middle, then that means there was
about

3500 years before Christ came and there are 3500 years after Christ death.
(7000/2=3500)

We also know that Christ will come at the beginning of the millennium. We know
that the millennium is the last 1000 years. “A thousand years of peace, love,
and joy will begin on

the earth at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. This thousand-year period is
called the

Millennium.” Gospel Principles manual chapter 45

So if there is 3500 years after Christ death and

Christ will come just before the last thousand years. That means he would come

right around the year 2500

Mathematically speaking there are about 2500 years

before Christ second coming. 3500 (years remaining after Christ death) -1000
(years for

the millennium)=2500

Christ won't come until his work is complete. Let's talk about things being
"complete".

The number 7 often is often the number used in the

scriptures to mean "completeness" and perfection.

Think about the

"Seven seals"

or "7 dispensations" talked about

in the book of Revelation

or the Lord created the world and On the "7th" day the Lord rested or
in

other words his work was "complete".

How much time would the Lord need to have his restored Church on
the earth in order to be complete? My guess is around 700 years.

Why?

The church
was restored in the 1800’s. The Lord likes to use the number 7 to

symbolize completeness. Let’s just indulge in speculation and assume that maybe

the Lord gave his people 700 years for the fullness of the gospel to be spread.

1800 (roughly the time of the restoration) +700

years ( my theory of how much time roughly the Lord allows for the restoration

before his second coming) = 2500 (roughly the time of the second coming).

Also
the Lord coming 700 years after the church was restored could still mean the
Lords coming is soon.

Abraham
3:4 says that 1000 “years” to us is “1 day” to the Lord.

I could see why many saints would think that the second come was
very soon because when the Lord spoke he said "the DAY soon cometh"

and speaking from the point of view of the Lord he is coming
soon because 700 years would still be
less than “a day” away for the Lord.

If Sunday is the Lords day and Christ was resurrected

or he came back on a Sunday, it’s likely that the he will come back again on a

Sunday again.

If Christ was born on April 6th (D&C 21:3) that means he literally came to
earth on that

day.

The church was restored on April 6th and

many of the most important spiritual events have happened on April 6th (General

Conference usually happens around or on April 6th) April 6th is a very
important day to the Lord and I think April 6th is just as good of
a guess as any other day.

The
church has been restored for around 200 years and there are a lot of things
that still need to happen before the second coming that I just don’t
realistically see happening in my lifetime or even my Grand Kids lifetime but I
think with another 500 years they all could realistically happen.

There are a handful of dates when April 6th will be on a Sunday around the year 2500 and in the year 2532 April 6th will happen on a Sunday being closest to "7" hundred years.

If I were to take a wild guess on when the second coming would
happen it would be

really early in the morning of Sunday April 6th of the year 2532.
