The resurrected body is in the form of the pre-mortal spirit that inhabits the body during mortality. People will be resurrected in the same physical form that they are laid down, for there is no growth in the grave. They will then grow toward an eternally mature stature.
The world of departed spirits is on the same earth where they lived. Although we can’t see them they see us and know our doings.
The only opportunity to have a posterity generated after mortality is to achieve the state of exaltation in the celestial kingdom of God.
This life is the time given to overcome bodily appetites and passions. If we do not overcome ourselves in mortality it may be everlastingly too late.
We may glean from the Book of Mormon the spirit and strenght to help overcome the apparent tragedies with which we may be confronted.
