I want to know if there is evidence that Corianton (from Alma 39-42) is included in those listed in Alma 48 as being “like Moroni” or “no less serviceable”… indicating he had repented, and had become acceptable to the Lord. I have heard some Church leaders refer to the Alma 48 references as an indication that Corianton repented, and my heart wants to use him as an example of repentance. Alma 39’s heading date is 74 BC and Alma 48’s is 72 BC, two years later, is there other evidence?

I believe your main question was whether Corianton had repented. It appears he had.
Yea, and there was continual peace among them, and exceedingly great prosperity in the church because of their heed and diligence which they gave unto the word of God, which was declared unto them by Helaman, and Shiblon, and Corianton, and Ammon and his brethren, yea, and by all those who had been ordained by the holy order of God, being baptized unto repentance, and sent forth to preach among the people. Alma 49:30

Can non members give prayers in Sacrament Meeting?

Hi Robert,
Visitors are always welcome to attend our sacrament and other Sunday worship meetings, of course. We are always happy to have respectful visitors to our meetings.
Prayers in sacrament meeting are given under the auspices of the presiding authority (usually the bishop). Such prayers are offered by members in good standing; those who act as voice for congregational prayers must of necessity be a part of the covenant body.
A sacrament meeting is a holy convocation of the Saints, so naturally only Saints will be actively participating in the services. Rarely, exceptions are made for non-congregants and non-members to address the congregation. This is most commonly seen in our monthly fast and testimony meetings, where testimonies are sometimes borne by visiting Saints and even, on occasion, by non-members. But I cannot think of a single instance when the invitation to a non-member to speak to (or for) the congregation has included a sacrament meeting prayer.
