Symbols are good teaching tools and visual aids. The Lord gives us symbols to remind of us important teachings. We didn’t have flesh and blood bodies in the pre-existance so we could not be wounded and bleed. What if the war was a war of testimonies? Good vs evil? Verbal fights are very real and can escalate beyond mild disagreement when people are trying to change others’ views.
