Sexual or not, sins unrepented for will keep us out of the Kingdom of God, period. Remember, sin is deathーSPIRITUAL DEATH. The same could be said of a lot of other sins as well in regards to the question above:

Would you rather die than __________________? (Fill in the blank.)

1. Break the law of chastity
2. Abuse your spouse
3. Steal from a neighbor
4. Cheat your way through college and graduate school
5. Curse God
6. Be addicted to pornography, drugs, or alcohol
7. Be unfaithful to your spouse

While it's true some sins may take more time for repentance or require confession versus some that do not, you could still find yourself excluded from the kingdom of God for bearing a deep-rooted hatred of a neighbor/classmate you're not willing to give up, either. And let's face it, you could slip by a worthiness interview without ever having the topic brought up that you despised someone.

I think we need to look at the grand scheme of things here. Everybody sins (with the exception of Christ), no ifs, ands, or buts about it. So saying I'm better than so and so, because I didn't do whatnot is a load of garbage. A person who says that is equal to the person committing the sin in God's eyes.

Matthew 7:1-2 makes this clear:

"1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again."

I think rather than put everybody down who messes up, we should lend them a hand to help them get out of the pit they are stuck in. If people are made in the image of God Almighty Himself, it seems strange to me that we would call anyone worthless or better off dead than having had made a serious mistake. We would do well to listen to how Elizabeth Smart felt after she was raped that she felt like ABC gum, because that's the nonsense people were saying at church.

And if a person who makes such a mistake is equal to ABC gum and good for nothing but to be thrown away, then that would defy the atonement itself and make Jesus Christ's suffering a complete waste. However, that is not the case, at all. People are made in the very image of God and they have the seeds of Godliness in them. God's plan is also to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man, so if we can't see the infinite potential in others, we need to toss the Oakley sunglasses and get a set of eyes single to the glory of God instead.

What I think is important here is that we try our best to live the commandments. And if we mess up, how fortunate we are that Jesus Christ gave us the gift of the atonement, so that we can be clean again like it never happened through sincere repentance.
