If the Lord revealed to her to stay behind, it is her revelation to which we have no right. Perhaps she wanted nothing more than to go with the Saints, and perhaps she was being obedient to the Lord by staying where she was. And perhaps it was a merciful God, who told her to rest a season where she was, knowing that she had passed the tests presented to her while the Saints were just beginning their own.
