The best Idea I would think would be not to be totally alone when the kissing happens, that way it won’t lead to anything more!

There is a fine line between teaching our standards which are hard enough but to take away the kids free agency by micro managing every aspect of yheir lives is dangerous . If kids are denied all fun and freedom they may rebel.

These parents are so misguided. I remember my friend Gina who was told that she should never let a boy kiss her–this was more than 60 years ago. So, she didn’t, but she got pregnant anyway. All of her friends wished she’d told us before she started dating. Parents need to be really honest and thorough with their sex talks, and not so controlling. An awful lot can happen with no kisses. Abbie needs to talk to a trusted YW leader or even her bishop.
