I married someone who I thought might be the wrong person, but as we have gone on with our lives, both keeping commandments, paying tithing, serving, reading family scriptures etc., the Lord has made us right for one another. I can see now in my patriarchal blessing that it has always been him, he has BECOME my eternal companion and I his. We will be celebrating 15 years soon and feel more than ever like newlyweds. The key to a successful marriage is each person focused on keeping his/her OWN baptism and temple covenants and paying tithing. Then Lord is then bound to honor His promises in our patriarchal blessings :) It's a beautiful thing, it's not about fate, it is about the choices we make.
