I committed a very serious sin many years ago and put off going to my bishop for a long time out of shame and fear.  I wish I&#039;d gone to him sooner.  I only prolonged my own suffering.  Going to my bishop was hard, but ultimately it was the best thing I could have done.  I hope you can find peace and joy and realize how much God and Jesus Christ love you and that you are far from hopeless.  Remember the words of Elder Hugh B. Brown:  &quot;No matter what your past has been, you have a spotless future.&quot;]]></description>
