The divine will always ask us to change who we are. Changing ourselves, for the better of all, is a perpetual act. Something which we cannot despair upon. An important, grand, and eternally complicated design is at work and is always steadily becoming more apparent to humanity. Revelation as an eventuality is something we can cherish and is made possible by our works and the works of our fellows.
It is with some regret that I do not see this lesson being of: I, much healthier and I, less wasteful and of progressing our approach towards consumption. It may be okay to use feed to feed animals to feed humans (which sounds as though there is one too many steps in the process,) but it may take a step in technology (before a step in charity) to solve the mortal's mystery of much meat.
