“…….Thy days are known, and thy years shall not be numbered less……” D&C 122:9.

I think Heavenly Father has sent each of us here to perform a specific work. And the date and time of our death can be hastened or delayed sometimes, depending upon our performance (or lack of it) here on earth. As well as being influenced by the faith of others in our behalf.
