I completely agree with you. When I was but a teenager, I had a re-occuring dream where I got to see the children that would be born into my family. I knew who was to be born first and what their names would be. I wasn’t even of marrying age at the time. Later in life, I did marry under the covenant and each of those children I saw in my dreams were born to me.. their names.. Andrew, Abigail, Audrey, Austin. Each as perfect as I saw them before and each in the order of their appearance in my dreams. Needless to say, it was easy figuring out what names they were to have and my husband didn’t even flinch when I told him. Just as we are FOREORDAINED to accomplished tasks on this earth, perhaps we are foreordained to particular families that will give us the greatest opportunity to accomplish that task and help us to grow. Our Father shows us our weaknesses in order to make us strong.. even in our pre-mortal life, He knows what those weeknesses are and will provide us with opportunities to make them strong in order to accomplish all that he has commanded us to do for the benefit of all our siblings and of our Father. Challenges in life are but stepping stones to the other side of the lake and to our Father’s kingdom.
