Is that when each of us is judged with our Advocate to speak for us? If so than how can Saul be in perdition? Gramps make an excellent point that similar language outside of the church (or outside what we would call our church) can have a quite different meaning and we need to be familiar with both languages.

The confusion comes because, it seems to me, the witch is actually able to call Samuels spirit to talk to Saul. Too me there is nothing in the dialogue between Saul and Samuel that would say to me he was really a demonic entity. The Samuel that appears to Saul basically says the same thing he had already told him before he died. To sum up how is this witch able to have the power to call a righteous prophet’s spirit back from paradise.
