One of the rare examples of where mankind is stepping out to explore an area that is expressly stated by the Lord to be beyond the account and record that He is willing to bestow upon us at this time. To me, this says, “Go check it out, it’s cool, and know that I’m still with you”. Kind of like letting a toddler explore for him/herself a new room in the house that’s always been there but the door has been closed until now. And you letting them explore it all on their own with you standing behind them every step of the way but saying nothing. :-)

I’ve often wondered if the huge gas giants like Jupiter or Saturn might not be needed for hydrogen fuel during the Millennium—for ships in space. We had no idea 300 years ago that the huge coal and oil deposits here on the earth would be so vitally needed today. But everything is prepared ahead of time by the Lord when we are ready for them.

Nice response to an impossible to answer question. Mars could be at the start or end of a very long journey. We simply do not know.
