Also, as the father of the ward, he will realize the need for potential successive leaders to gain training and experience as they serve as counselors. Our Father in Heaven presides, with others to follow His direction, and is the ultimate example of this preparing future leaders. His Son Jesus Christ showed and shows us this too.

It has never happened in church history, and I don’t know if it’s listed in there just to be comprehensive, or if it will come into play more fully at some point in the future, or just to be esoteric.
