Except that scout master is not a calling in the same way as other callings.  Bring called of the Lord to join another organization doesn&#039;t remove you from the state laws or internal rules of that org.  Scouting is not a church and participation is not protected by those laws.  If the Lord called me to be a Lawyer,  I would do it.  But religious protections wouldn&#039;t have my need to pass the BAR or require another law firm to hire me!]]></description>
