there's always working from home. there are a number of legit online freelancer sites you can look into (oDesk is one, Freelancer is another) if you write or can run errands or become someone's assistant which all can be done in the comfort of your home and without compromising your daughter's well-being yet bring in extra income. If you're an entrepreneur or you know of moms in your Ward that are, you can go from there. Surely you 're not the only mother facing this issue.

Short range goal vs long range goal. Some times there is no choice, I regret that but sometimes it exists. Having said that . . . analyze where you spend your money. Most of us (almost all of us, including myself) use very little wisdom in how we decide to spend the money we have. If you do not have a record of what you spend your money on than you are unable to make a budget. Making (and learning to keep) a budget is a (the) short term goal that you need to work on to find out what long term goals are possible. Only when we know what long range goals are possible is there a chance for us to work towards our hearts desire.
