One would think that suggesting that we look at both sides
of Joseph Smith would not be censored. I do not see how looking at his whole
life is problematic for believers, either you believe he was a prophet of God
or you do not, his penchant for young brides, and hubris should not dissuade one
from their beliefs but to pretend he was a perfect man is disingenuous. Knowing
he was a prophet will never be confirmed by intellect only prayer. But why not acknowledge
the honest truth about him? Is this too dangerous a concept to even be
published?

Jesus Christ was arrested, tried, convicted and executed for his “crimes”. Does this prove he was false? I think all Christians would agree that just because someone is accused of something, that doesn’t mean the accusation must be true.
