In Brooklyn recently my Jewish hosts told me of their belief about Shem being Melchizedek. I suppose their belief (the Jewish tradition) is to what Elder McConkie was referring. I can't see why Shem couldn't be Melchizedek based only on the plural word "fathers" since it can have dual meaning. Am I missing something obvious?
