I don’t believe the priesthood ban was of God. I believe it was borrowed from the Southern Evangelicals of the United States by Brigham Young and imposed upon the Church with no revelation involved. Brigham was very specific in his racism to African blacks. The native people of Australia are not African blacks. So I am surprised it was even a question.
