I can no longer drive a commercial truck (or bus!) because I suffered a Sudden Cardiac Arrest six years ago. I am still dealing with the emotional fallout of that event. At times, like Job, I wished the paramedics hadn't revived me because not only had I lost my CDL, I no longer had a way to support my family. I had lost everything, including my savings (including my retirement), because bills still had to be paid.

Yet the Lord has opened doors for me and I have both endured and grown in my abilities. I have 2 grandsons now and take part in babysitting while my daughter (their mother) completes her teaching certification. I will soon watch my youngest daughter graduate from high school. I have been led to volunteer opportunities that match my current abilities. I have found ways to manage and pay those bills. God has blessed me greatly!
