I love to practice kundalini yoga and meditation. It has only brought me closer to God. Kundalini refers to our spiritual energy already inside us (aka holy spirit). Practicing this powerful technology allows us to be more in touch with and more capable of receiving inspiration.

So what I'm basically asking about is is it ok to use as a tool to heighten your awareness and senses only. Like you were saying it is capable of doing.

Same kind of analagy with The original AA 12 step program, where they had things that contradicted the gospel, like you don't have to believe in Jesus to use it, as long as you believe in a higher power. Yet the church saw the benefits of the system, altered it and now teach it through LDS Social Services.

What are your thoughts?

Thank you.

What about the idea that it is used as a technology? In other words, its a tool to get rid of emotional baggage that hinders you from feeling the spirit? It's not a religion, however people can believe that.

For example, what if it's used like the 12 step program in AA? That has been incorporated in the church and used for members overcoming addictions through LDS Social Services? What are your thoughts?
