Humans have been on the earth for hundreds of thousands of years. Not six thousand as indicated in the time line of a inerrant bible belief. The story of the creation, Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Noah and the Ark, the Tower of Babel are all allegories. They are not literal events. It is odd that you can take the Adam’s rib story as an allegory, yet believe that these other events are not the same. These stories were never intended to be taken literally. That is why there is no (none, zero) evidence for any of these as real events.
