					<description><![CDATA[This one is easy, it was already answered by Joseph Fielding Smith when he was the President of the 12.  I believe it the Church publication at the time was called, The Improvement Era and the section was, Answers To Gospel Questions.  Around 1966 I think.  Anyway, he stated that Alma was ordained by someone who had authority.  Alma then went one to make wrong choices.  If he were in the Church today, he would have be ex&#039;d but he wasn&#039;t as the Church in King Noah&#039;s time was all wicked, so when Alma finally repented, he did not need to be reordained.  I thought &quot;Gramps&quot; would have known this seeing that there are several people that write for &quot;Gramps&quot; to keep this site going.  Anyway, you can look it up and you&#039;ll see.

It&#039;s kind of cool that back in the day the Pres of the 12 was the one to answer gospel questions.]]></description>
