I believe it the Church publication at the time was called, The Improvement Era and the section was, Answers To Gospel Questions. Around 1966 I think. Anyway, he stated that Alma was ordained by someone who had authority. Alma then went one to make wrong choices. If he were in the Church today, he would have be ex’d but he wasn’t as the Church in King Noah’s time was all wicked, so when Alma finally repented, he did not need to be reordained. I thought “Gramps” would have known this seeing that there are several people that write for “Gramps” to keep this site going. Anyway, you can look it up and you’ll see.

It’s kind of cool that back in the day the Pres of the 12 was the one to answer gospel questions.
