Partially correct.

We covenant not to disclose three specific things from the temple:

– Signs
– Tokens
– Key Words

There is no other covenant in which we agree to not disclose the thing in question.

I prefer the use of discrecion, meaning I decide with whom I will discuss what. With an active, endowed member, I am willing to discuss more than I am with a non-member or a member who has not been endowed.

Those videos are heavily distorted and very obviously fake – or otherwise filled with falsified information. That aside, something being “leaked” or becoming “public domain” is not a significant excuse to break covenants, and in fact those people are under condemnation for violating the spirit of the house of the Lord.

However, You Tube has got quite a few videos of or talks about Temple ordinances, submitted by ex mormons. So anyone interested in finding out what used to happen and what happens now during ordinances has no difficulty finding out. So if they are now in the public domain, regardless of why, it seems to me better that the church should publish it’s own account otherwise the secrecy factor can become a reason to attack rather than obtain knowledge such as this.

Covenants I do not share with anyone including my wife, even though she’s in the temple with me. Spritiual experiences only what the spirit allows me too. That may be different, depending on who i’am with.

There are also covenants you make in the temple where you willingly promise to keep the temple teachings sacred. There are ways to talk about the temple without violating those covenants; I always tell people that the temple is where we make higher covenants with God and we learn about Jesus Christ and His role in the Creation.
