With as much work as there is for apostles today in the last days…..and the second coming of Christ approaching very rapidly, it makes more sense to have a full quorum of 12 out there in the world testifying, rather than just 9 out there with 3 back home holding down the fort. The Lord can call as many apostles as he wants, but has limited the number that are out in the world to 12, symbolically representing the 12 tribes of Israel.

So am I to understand by your answer that after Christ left they did eventually get up to 15 to have the same organization that we have in the church today?
