Thanks for the reply, i have heard that they will be able to bring their non member spouse with them but have also heard that the Lord will in his mercy and fairness give them a new spouse that was a worthy member. So was hoping there was some clarification as there are 2 completely opposite opinions.

There isn’t anything we are able to find doctrinally except in the Church Handbook which provides us with a principle that specifies we can place our trust in a loving, merciful, Heavenly Father who will make sure all things are fair in the end. Other than this, we do not have any doctrinal statement regarding this additional question.

I know a number of part member families (with loving and supportive spouses) and always wondered what will happen, is there anything written specifcally on this?
