Seeing the Church’s World Report every 6 months is one of the main reason I love to pay tithing. It is amazing to see and hear how tithing is benefiting and blessing the lives of others. It is amazing to see the church being so financially stable.

I can tell you from personal experience that the Church will never allow tithing to lead any family to financial ruin. Full tithe payers have the right to expect aid from the Church if paying tithing means they cannot meet other financial obligations. While the Church won’t pay your credit card bills, they will help with things like groceries, utilities, etc. We even had to have our mortgage covered for a couple of months.

In the question, they state “What I haven’t seen is whether or not tithing will bar you from exaltation if all other ordinances are met.” Not sure what ordinances they are talking about, but if they’re referring to Temple Ordinances, it may be a bit difficult to get those accomplished if they’re not paying tithing… that is unless they are lying in their Temple Recommend interview.
