Obviously the secret combinations prophecied about in either 3rd Nephi and Moroni are not only real they are now in charge and we need to “awaken to our awful situation”. Murder, wars, rumors of wars, are the new norm and people everywhere are loosing faith because every cause that is good or could be good is destroyed by lies or “legislation”.

Wow, this subject brings out the worst of the Church and its members as displayed by the comments from Wax and others. You are everything the Church is not. And unfortunately it is your face that the world sees and it perpetuates the poor image that so many in the world have of members of the Church. If you can’t say anything nice………

Your first sentence says it all, & that is what counts.. I too feel the same way about him & others who are living “Gladiton ways”.. When you pray about those who are our enemies, do what I do, plug your nose… ;0) But seriously, pray that their hearts will soften, that their minds will be clear as to what it is they are not only doing to us, but to themselves..
It’s ok to feel anger & as long as we don’t let it consume us…& then forgive, eventually.

I hear you but I am a human being subject to imperfection. The second commandment is the toughest one for me. I cannot love Harry Reid or any politician that espouse his beliefs. Not because he’s LDS, because he is who he is. I’m struggling with loving terrorist, cop killers, all these bad people in the world that want to do me harm for simply being who I am. I wished so bad that I could control my distain for them but I’m being perfectly honest…I can’t.

I love the church and the gospel, with out it, what would there be!

Gramps, did you not post my comment because I was too harsh on Reid and Romney? I love and respect you but are you promoting free speech and thought here or selective speech? As long as there is no coarse language I believe everything should be posted.

I haven’t seen the so called member of the Church who is willing to step up and defend the principals and standards that our constitution has granted our people. I am holding Harry Reid in judgement, that if he represents the Church in our Government, I’m finding a new religion. That man is one of the most evil despicable politicians to ever hold political office. And it should not be skirted, it should be stated. I also not a huge fan of Oran Hatch or Mitt Romney, they both have let us down as a country let alone a church! I remember a time when members of the church were called out publicly, what happened?
