My understanding is that the morning of the first resurrection constitutes the first half of the Millennium, and the afternoon of the first resurrection is the second half of the Millennium. My guess is that those who join Satan in the battle of Gog and Magog after the Millennium will either be not-yet-resurrected offspring of already-resurrected beings living at the end of the Millennium, and perhaps even some of those who have been resurrected with terrestrial and celestial bodies will rebel as well. Either way, since Christ will be on the earth, any who rebel and join Satan at that point will probably become sons of perdition, and perhaps any with resurrected terrestrial and celestial bodies who rebel will have their bodies downgraded to resurrected son-of-perdition bodies, or maybe they will still go to outer darkness with their resurrected bodies of terrestrial and celestial glory. Another possibility is that the battle will not only follow the Millennium, but the second resurrection as well, which could mean that Satan's forces will involve people resurrected with telestial and son-of-perdition bodies, though I think I remember reading that the battle will precede the second resurrection, so perhaps not. As fun as it is to speculate on this, though, the bulk of our gospel study should probably go to the basic doctrines that will save us, such as faith, hope, and charity, so I've probably made a long enough comment on this particular post, haha.

" At the end of this period, the population (remember these are mortals) will again rebel against God and Satan will run free among those who would rather serve him."

Was under the impression that there would be both resurrected beings and mortals during the resurrection.
