Each ward complies an annual history as does each stake. The histories for all the units in a stake are compiled together and are then turned into church head quarters. How comprehensive those histories are depend upon the historian — some are pretty slim and some are excellent. In our stake, the yearly histories are in a binder in the stake offices and can be viewed by those who are interested. My husband and I have been doing this calling for our stake for a couple of years now.
