I thought it answered the original question very well. No one but ourselves chooses if the spirit world will be a paradise or a prison to us. The place is the same but the outlook and state of mind we experience thee will depend greatl on how we spent our probation.

This article gives a pretty good analysis of what happens in the Spirit World, although I think it may still be off on a few points. It doesn’t really answer the question originally posed.
