I would only suggest that perhaps no waiting is needed. Why not access the power of the priesthood that the Lord in his mercy has already restored and made available to you through your ward members, home teachers, bishopric, neighbors, extended family, etc.? As a priesthood holder, this is where I myself must turn to access priesthood power and authority in my own life. It seems as though the Lord set it up this way so that bridges and connections between his children would be made as part of the process.

If a womens role is to sustain her husband and raise children then where does a women fit, such as myself that is single and cannot have children? What is my role in God’s kingdom in THIS LIFE not the next? There is no priesthood in my home and therefore I can honestly say I do not share the same comforts and blessings as a married couple. This is troubling to me because I know God is a Just God. I guess I must wait for the Lord to restore all things… Maybe there will be another priesthood restored given to the widows and childless so that we do no have to walk alone anymore during these very dark times. Any thoughts?
