There is currently not a Patriarch to the Church in the Mormon Church. The organization of the Mormon Church changes according to the size and needs of the current times. The office of Mormon patriarch is now filled on a stake level.
The Mormon prophet been ordained by priesthood authority and one should not be ashamed to say so. The office of Pope gained its authority politically centuries ago.
