Gramps,
Replenish?  Does that mean the earth was “plenished” before Adam and Eve were given the commandment?
Rebecca, from Raleigh, North Carolina

Dear Rebecca,
Pick up a dictionary! There are two distinct definitions of the word, replenish. The first definition is to fill with persons or animals, in other words, to stock. The second definition is to fill or to build up again, as in he replenished his glass.
Which of these two definitions do you think is used in the scriptures when the scriptures themselves say—

And I, the Lord God, formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul, the first flesh upon the earth, the first man also; nevertheless, all things were before created; but spiritually were they created and made according to my word (Moses 3:7).
