I have been exploring kundalini. Do you know what this is? Do you know what the Church’s stand is on this?

Dear Mel,
To seek inspiration or enlightenment from occult sources or from the various philosophies of men, such as kundalini, may do something to heighten the senses and self awareness, but there is only one true source of inspiration. When we begin to depend on the philosophies of men rather than on inspiration from God through the Holy Ghost, we not only change from the most powerful source of truth to a much, much weaker source of questionable value, but we run the risk of losing the influence of the Holy Spirit to help us understand and accept the truth and recognize the erroneous philosophies of men when they are presented to us.
