I would like your opinion or a reference if you know of one. If there will be no disease or infirmities in the millennium will we still get tired? I know there will be differences and similarities to life as we now know it. Thank you for your time,
In the first place, weariness comes not only from disease and infirmities, but also from physical exertion. There will be living on the earth during the resurrection both mortals and resurrected beings. The earth itself will be in a terrestrial state, and the resurrected beings who will inhabit it during the millennium will have been resurrected with either terrestrial or celestial bodies. (Those to be resurrected with telestial bodies will not come forth until the end of the millennium).
There is no doubt that both mortals and immortals will be called upon during the millennium for physical exertion. The mortals will certainly experience fatigue, but will the immortals? John makes these related comments concerning the resurrected beings during the millennium-
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Rev.21:4
There is no doubt in my mind that resurrected beings do not have unlimited physical strength, so I would imagine that there must be some limitation to their endurance. But whether or not fatigue will exist with them I know of no revealed word concerning the matter.
