Gramps,

When we are resurrected do we return to our grave and, so to speak, pick up our old bones and become an immortal being. If so how about those cremated or burned up or, well you get my drift. Thank You.

Bruce

Dear Bruce,

Alma, in teaching his son, Coritanton concerning the resurrection, made the following statement-

The soul shall be restored to the body, and the body to the soul; yea, and every limb and joint shall be restored to its body; yea, even a hair of the head shall not be lost; but all things shall be restored to their proper and perfect frame. (Alma 40:23)

Do you think that the Lord, who created all the infinite worlds in the universe-Moses 7:30, who possesses all the knowledge that exists-2 Nephi 9:20, would not have the ability to collect a few scattered elements on one of His worlds and bring them to order? Believe the scriptures, and lean not unto your own understanding.
