Hello Gramps:
What does the bible say about other worlds/earths created?

Thank You,

Brian

Dear Brian,

Some specific references to other worlds created by God can be found in Job 9: 9 ” Which maketh Arcturus, aOrion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.”   Also in John 1: 1 “In the bbeginning was the Word, and the cWord was with God, and the dWord was eGod.  2 The same was in the abeginning with God.  3 All things were amade by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”  In Hebrews 1:  1″ God, who aat sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the bfathers by the cprophets,  2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his aSon, whom he hath bappointed cheir of all things, by whom also he dmade the eworlds.”

How much easier it is for us who have the additional scriptures brought forth by Joseph Smith  to understand that God through His Only Begotten Son has created many worlds.   In Moses  1 we read:  33 “And aworlds without number have I bcreated; and I also created them for mine own purpose; and by the cSon I dcreated them, which is mine eOnly Begotten.”  We need to keep in mind that the Book of Moses in the Pearl of Great Price comes from the Inspired Translation of the Bible by Joseph Smith.
