How does one that holds the Melchizedek Priesthood follow his path back to all the others that held that Priesthood? We are told that we should be able to know who ordained us. Thank you.

Dear Leroy,
If you don’t know who ordained you, but you know the approximate date, you might go back to the Ward records. All ordinations are recorded in the Ward. If the Ward Historical Record has been submitted to the Church archives, perhaps the Ward Clerk could make some inquiries for you.
