Did our spirits in the pre-earth life have an age?

Question Hey gramps, I got thinking the other day. Before we came to Earth, we lived as spirits with our heavenly father. But do our spirits have an age? Or a better question is, did God create our spirits, or did we just always exist? Just curious. Thanks Jeff  ...
